April has blessed us with a double portion of service! The Ten Club is honored to be able to help with a donation to Ben Myra. Ben is a senior this year and will be graduating this summer from High School. His is very active in the Scouting Program and will be completing his Eagle project very soon. Ben is active in 4H and FFA programs also. His Eagle project is a Community Barbecue Pit, built out of brick. He has dedicated many hours and enlisted the help of his fellow Scouts as required for the Eagle Rank. We are very proud of Ben and his willingness to serve others. We are looking forward to having many wonderful gatherings with plenty of food prepared on the new barbecue. The Ten Club is always looking for ways to serve others who serve our community, Congratulations Ben for being our first Double Helping of Service! We know he will go on to do great and wonderful things and we look forward to watching him soar!
Pictures are coming soon!!
About the Ten Club
Watch the above video about The Ten Club. This is not the people from Willows Chapter but, our mission and values are the same.
The Ten Club is a group of women that come together once a month to do a Service Project. As seen in the video, The Ten Club was born out of compassion for others. All of us naturally have a desire to help others, but most of us are not in a position to do all we would like to do for many reasons. The good news is that many hands and hearts are able to do so much more. Our goal is to have as many people in the community be involved as possible. For only $10.00 (Ten dollars) a month you will be helping others less fortunate than yourself, meeting new friends and sharing in some wonderful memory making fun. Our intention is to enrich our community, help families, reach out to charitable orginations and help to make a difference in someones life. Even if you are not able to contribute $10.00 everytime, your contributation to the project is still vital. The Ten Club meets each month on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30p.m., the location is subject to change but once you become a member you will be notified of any changes prior to the meeting. All the funds collected at each meeting will be used for the next month's Service Project.

APRIL'S EXCITING PROJECT!
The Ten Club is headed to the Library! Our focus will on books, books and more books! It brings a smile to our faces to be able to help out as the Library prepares us for one of it's biggest jobs, Getting the Library books in order! The Ten Club will be helping to organize, categorize, code and shelf books. We are excited to be working directly within our community! Reading is so important to us all! It helps us to stay up to date with current events, teaches us of history, it educates us, and it entertains us. We are so thankful to have a Library in our small community. April's project is special because it starts our Spring off just right! We all hope that you will support your local libraries by checking out a book or two or even by volunteering your time!
Have a fantastic April!!

March's special project
This project is making hats for women and men who are patients at the Enloe Chico Cancer Center. We are so pleased that this is our FIRST project! This disease plagues the lives of so many people, people we love, our mothers, fathers, children, neighbors and friends. To bring a bit of handmade warmth and love to them, touches our hearts. We are looking forward to continuing our efforts to bring new hats to the Center as often as possible. Our hope is to brighten the days of those who endure so much.
Our love and prayers go out to all who hopefully will be wearing our hats!

Hope you have a spectacular week!
